Sydney-based hospitality group, Liquid & Larder, are searching for an experienced charismatic Bar Manager to lead the team at Alfie’s.
About the Venue:
Alfie’s reinvents the idea of the steakhouse as a place of opulence and excess with a stripped back, irreverent and rule breaking cocktail bar and restaurant inspired by the underbelly of East London.
The energy of the venue is explosive, the art is bold, the sounds are edgy and the dining time is fast (just over one hour).
Entering via the Open-air Terrace and Bar, patrons enjoy a casual setting with Sydney’s coldest martinis, draught beer, and a world-class wine list. If you’re feeling hungry, indulge in a rotisserie beef and hot chip butty or ale-battered cod or beef nuggets.
About the Role:
To thrive in this role you will need an exceptional attention to detail, as Bar Manager you will ensure impeccable standards in both the quality of drinks served and the service provided. Your ultimate goal is to go above and beyond, exceeding guest expectations and leaving them thoroughly satisfied. As Bar Manager you are driven by a relentless pursuit for excellence, aiming to set the benchmark for being best in class within the industry. While mentoring your team to be the next leaders of the industry.
A minimum of two years experience managing a team in a busy restaurant bar is preferred, along with a keen eye for detail to maintain the consistent quality of our offerings.

Liquid & Larder has been appointed as the official food and beverage partner for The EVE Hotel Sydney – the city’s most anticipated new-build boutique hotel opening of the year and we need a strong Restaurant Supervisor to join our management team.

As host you will welcome our guests, and deliver a seamless transition through all areas of the venue. You will achieve this through accurate table management, good communication skills and by building rapport with both guests and the team.
You will set the tone for the guests’ interaction with the venue and set the first and last impression. This must be warm, welcoming and hospitable, engaging with people’s needs and expectations and communicating these to ensure they are met.
Prior experience in a hatted venue is essential, prior use of SevenRooms would also be preferable. This will be a full time position.
