Liquid & Larder is searching for passionate full-time waitstaff to join the team at the award-winning Italian cocktail bar and restaurant, Bistecca.
Since opening in July 2018, the venue located beneath Sydney’s CBD has made a name for itself as one of Sydney’s most hyped openings, known for delivering a truly unique guest experience. The venue has recently been awarded the Tony Hitchins Award for Australia’s Best New Wine List (2019 Gourmet Traveller Wine Awards ) and One Chefs Hat (2020 Good Food Guide Awards).
Working closely with Bistecca’s Restaurant Manager, the role is service-focussed, working in an intimate 50-seater dining room with an open kitchen. We’re on the search for engaging staff who are committed to creating memorable experiences for all guests.

Sprawled across three distinctive spaces beneath the CBD, the venue is designed for pure escapism by being transported to another time and place. The focus of the cocktail bar is to deliver flawless and revered Italian classic cocktails, alongside an abundance of Amari primarily sourced from Italy.
A concealed dining room will serve bistecca alla Fiorentina (renowned Florentine cut of steak) cooked over an open hearth in an intimate setting alongside a 300-strong wine list featuring a wide range of Italian grape varieties from Italy and Australia.
