The Gidley, Liquid & Larder’s newest venue, is due to open in October/November 2019. The inspiration from the unique concept has come from dining in traditional NYC steakhouses.
The venue is a rich and decadent 45-seater restaurant with adjoining wine room and lounge that will be dripping with atmosphere set in an unassuming basement off King Street Sydney’s CBD.
About the Role
We are looking for motivated individuals to work in a close-knit team focused on meticulous food preparation with the ability to produce quality with consistency. We are searching for an experienced Chef with progression and development opportunities in a growing company.
You will have experience in similar fast-paced kitchen environments. Preferably fine dining.
The venue will initially open for dinner six nights a week with plans to open for lunch shortly after
The right applicant will need to demonstrate:
A confident cooking style with a strong emphasis on quality, presentation and consistency
Planning and organisational skills
Be meticulous in adhering to food safety regulations
Proven experience working in similar fast-paced kitchen environments. Preferably fine dining.
Ability to work flexible hours between Monday and Saturday
